Pastor Sheryl A. Reed
MIT Claude D. Reed, II
Pastor Sheryl A. Reed answered God’s call to ministry in 2006. She was licensed in 2007, ordained in 2009, and installed as Pastor in July 2021. She serves with a heart for teaching, prayer, encouragement, and restoring hope through Jesus Christ.
MIT Claude D. Reed II is an ordained deacon, longtime music minister, and Minister in Training. After giving God his “Yes” in 2023, he preached his first sermon, “Another Chance,” from Psalm 51 on February 22, 2026.
Married since 2008, Pastor Sheryl and MIT Claude Reed serve together with a shared commitment to Reach. Reconnect. Restore.
Statement of Faith
Statement of Faith
We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy universal Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
We believe in the covenant marriage between one man and one woman.
We believe in the Bible to be the true and inspired Word of God.
We believe in water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the unleavened bread and wine of Communion are representative of the Body of Christ and the Blood of Christ respectively.
